The method

The Approach

Golf is an athletic movement. The players who hit it further and hold up over 18 holes are the ones whose bodies can produce and control speed — resistance training is the most direct way to build that.

01

Distance

Heavier, faster strength work builds the force and rate of force that turns into clubhead speed — the number one driver of distance.

02

Consistency

A stronger, more stable body repeats its movement under fatigue, so your swing holds together on the back nine.

03

Injury prevention

Building capacity in the hips, trunk and shoulders protects the areas golf loads hardest, keeping you playing.

The framework

Built on the TPI method.

The TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) method is the performance framework tour professionals use to understand how the body powers the golf swing.

Rather than treating swing faults as purely technical, it screens your mobility, strength and movement patterns to find the physical limitations capping your distance, consistency or comfort — then maps them to what you actually see in your swing. Limited hip rotation, a stiff thoracic spine or weak glutes each show up on the course in their own way.

Every test is graded functional, dysfunctional or painful, so we know what to train and what to work around. That is what turns generic fitness advice into a plan built around what your body specifically needs to play better golf.

What the screen looks at
  • Hip rotation
  • Thoracic spine mobility
  • Shoulder mobility
  • Single-leg balance
  • Core and pelvic control

How training works

  1. 01

    Assess

Every programme starts with a full TPI (Titleist Performance Institute) 16-point movement screen. We look at your mobility, strength, stability and how you move through the golf-specific patterns that drive your swing — pinpointing exactly what is holding you back before we write a single session.

  2. 02

    Build

Using your screening results, we build a progressive strength and mobility programme designed around your limitations. The goal is twofold: move better, with more efficient, pain-free mechanics — and get stronger, so you can generate more clubhead speed and hit the ball further.

  3. 03

    Transfer

Strength and mobility mean nothing if they do not show up in your swing. This is where we bridge the gap, connecting your physical improvements directly to your golf movement — so the work you put in off the course translates into real results on it: more distance, more consistency, fewer injuries.

Training is only part of it. Sleep, hydration, daily movement and protein decide how much of your gym work actually reaches the course — so we look at those in your assessment and build them into the plan.
